Traffic simulations

We perform traffic modelling using PTV Vision Visum (for macro-modelling) and PTV Vision Vissim (for micro-modelling) software. These software applications were developed in Germany and are used in more than 75 countries. The source material for traffic modelling is a traffic survey prepared with the greatest possible accuracy. Areas of application of PTV Vision Visum software: maintenance of databases of transport and socio-economic indicators, calculation of traffic intensity, calculation of transport demand, road network assessment, forecasting, assessment of the need for road network improvement, optimisation of the functioning of private and public transport, and development of transport strategies. Areas of application of PTV Vision Vissim software: assessment of junction capacities, assessment of the operation of traffic lights, monitoring of lane usability, intertwinement, lane changing, and detailed traffic simulation.
