Traffic survey for detailed spatial planning for Mäealuse 2a, 2b, and 2c

A student hostel-style accommodation establishment is planned to be built at Mäealuse 2a, 2b, and 2c in Tallinn. Approximately 140 parking spaces will be created next to the building. The Tallinn City Planning Department instructed the developer to commission a traffic survey to assess the impact of the additional parking spaces on traffic in the area. Using traffic modelling, we analysed the intersections in the area and prepared a forecast of additional traffic volumes. Based on the survey, we concluded that the existing street network is able to support the additional traffic.
